A NOD TO RON COWELL - ‘60s FAN EXTRAORDINAIRE !
Ron Cowell describes himself as “an old Rock n’ Roller” and has the credentials to back it up! As a young and talented guitarist, he worked with the likes of Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis. He traveled with both the Beach Boys and Jerry and the Pacemakers, and was even on the TV show “Shindig” with Dianna Ross & the Supremes and many others.
Ron’s height in the ‘60s musical scene is also matched by his literal height -- an impressive 6’8” tall! Also impressive is his enormous collection of 45s and LPs from the ‘50s and ‘60s decades. If anyone has a question about a song or artist from this Golden Era, I’m sure Ron can answer it.
